Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Spruiell Property Co. ("I", "me") collects through spruiellpropertyco.com, how I use it, and the choices you have. I'm a small, San Diego-based business, and I keep this simple: I collect only what I need to reply to you and to manage rentals for owners who hire me.
What I collect
- What you send me. When you use the "Get a free rental review" form, I receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your property's area and number of bedrooms, your listing link (if you give it) and your message. The same goes for anything you send by email.
- Anonymous visit statistics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not track you across other websites.
- Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending it. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser (such as browser type and how the page was loaded) to do that check. It is not used for advertising.
- Standard server logs. Like every website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
How I use it
- To reply to you and prepare the rental review you asked for.
- If you become a client, to manage your property and communicate with you about it.
- To keep the website working, secure and free of spam.
I don't sell your personal information, I don't share it for advertising, and I won't add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who helps me run the site
A few service providers process information on my behalf, only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and provides the spam check and visit statistics.
- Resend delivers form submissions to my inbox.
- Google (Gmail) is where my business email is received and stored.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for tracking or advertising, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
How long I keep it
I keep review requests and emails for as long as they're useful for our conversation or working relationship, and then delete them. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information I have about you, to ask me to correct or delete it, and to not be discriminated against for making these requests. I don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, email [email protected]. I'll respond within 45 days. Wherever you live, I'll honor reasonable requests to see or delete your information.
Children
This site is for property owners and isn't directed to children under 16. I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
